It’s difficult to imagine there’s ANYTHING the world doesn’t already know about Day26, but Que, Mike, Robert, Willie and Brian — also known as Day26, also-also known as the men of Making The Band 4, still have five things they think you may not know about themselves and their hit record, Forever in a Day.
A bonus sixth thing you may or may not know about Day26: they have a true affinity for pooting. Seriously, a poot runs through this entire interview. Day26 smelt it, but I’m not saying who dealt it. (Though I blame blame Jamie Foxx.)

Thats right! Que confirmed on his official twitter earlier today that the follow-up single to I.P.I.O.H will be “Your Heels”! This is one of my favorite joints off the album so i’m def. excited for the release and video.

DAY26’s sophomore album, ‘Forever In A Day’ has moved down the Billboard 200 charts to #8 with an additional 37,000 album sold. We are still hella proud of The Guys for their great accomplishments!
In 2007, Brian Andrews, Michael McCluney, Qwanell “Que” Mosley, Robert Curry and Willie Taylor were just some regular guys who simply wanted to sing. In 2008, they made Diddy’s band as Day26 and became a legitimate force in R&B after scoring a #1 album via their self-titled debut. After witnessing the demise of their sister group Danity Kane and the lackluster sales of Donnie Klang’s debut, all eyes were on Day26 in this season of Diddy’s Making The Band.
When it came to drama on this venture, the boys certainly did not disappoint.
With the release of Day26’s latest album, Forever In A Day, fans of the all male R&B group get to hear the culmination of their efforts after a tumultuous season on MTV’s reality show.
The group sat down with BET.com to discuss their latest project, the reality of reality TV, the fighting, crying and more.
“Yeah, we look like some clowns,” Will says when asked of how he felt after watching this season. “But you know what? The moral of this whole story is that we go through stuff. At one point, we just weren’t listening to each other. We went through something so big and it wasn’t about crying. We worked through it and that’s the best thing about it. Our fans got to go through that with us.”
Initial problems stemmed from a lack of finances as the group waited to get a new contract so they could record what has since become Forever In A Day. The group brings clarity to their financial situation.
“We were basically working for free,” Mike explains about that particular trying time. “A majority of our money is made touring and doing shows. We took a lot of months off to film the show. We had three months off with no steady financial gain like there was before. We’re paying bills with nothing coming in. That’s going to make you a little upset when you are not making any money and there’s money out there to make. You’ve got this show that’s not trying to help you do nothing else and that causes problems. If anybody else in this world was out of work for three months, they’d be homeless.”
The final numbers are in for the debut of “Forever In A Day” and its first week release. DAY26 sold a very impressive 115,209 copies, landing them in the #2 position! Lets hope that with this weeks live finale of Making The Band, the numbers will go up and hopefully DAY26 can take that #1 spot next week! Congratulations to them!
According to the HitsDailyDouble.com album sales charts, DAY26 is set debut at #2 selling 78,562 copies! We are hella proud of the guys and thanks to everyone who picked up the album! R&B group and Making the Band 4 stars DAY26 are close to scoring their second no.1 album according to early chart predictions!
“Forever In A Day,” the quintet’s Yung Joc, Diddy and Jermaine Dupri assisted album, has been predicted to move over 100,000 copies according to Hits Daily Double. However, the album still faces tough competition from the “Hannah Montana: The Movie” Soundtrack and Rascal Flatts’ latest effort “Unstoppable”.
Day 26 hit no.1 with their self titled debut album on the strength of 190,000 copies last year.
“Forever In A Day” features the group’s climbing single “Imma Put It On Her,” which is also one of this week’s most added records at Rhythmic radio.
DAY26 is expected to come in at #2 or #3 next week on the overall album charts. The group is expected to sell 110-115,000 copies of their sophomore album, Forever In A Day. If you have not bought the album yet then GO OUT AND GET IT - make sure you support DAY26!
FLATTS IS STILL UP: Lyric Street/Disney’s Rascal Flatts should hold on to the #1 spot for a second week on next week’s HITS Album Sales chart, coming in somewhere in the 120-130k range. The real battle will be for #2 between Disney’s Hannah Montana: The Movie soundtrack and this week’s top debut, Bad Boy/Atlantic’s P. Diddy discovery Day26, both headed for the 100-110k range. The only other new release of note is the Dangerbird/ADA alt rock band Silversun Pickups, headed for a not-bad-at-all 35-40k. Meanwhile, the market was up 10% vs. last week, up 6% vs. same week last year and down 12% year to date. You may now return to your local Glenn Beck-sponsored Tax Day Tea Party. (4/15p)

DAY26 released ‘Forever In A Day’ just yesterday and already its beginning to tear up the iTunes Charts! Check out the full album chart below that I will be keeping track of weekly.

Here are the medium-quality photos of DAY26 at their album signing for ‘Forever In A Day’ last night at Best Buy in NYC. The Guys signed albums for their NYC-area fans and the fist 25 fans in line won a dinner with the guys! Congrats to the winners! Day26 weren’t too pleased when their boss, Diddy, came in at the last minute to tinker with the band’s album, Forever in a Day — after all, they were almost finished.
“It wasn’t really much room left, not much time left to do anything,” Robert Curry told MTV News. “The few changes that he did make … of course we were already sold on what we had initially, so we didn’t like the few changes that were made. But most of them … a lot of them were very good for the album and, um, he didn’t say anything for the rest of the album, so we had to give up something.”
But looking back at what Diddy told the guys to adjust, they see why he has become such a successful music mogul. “As far as song selection, there were a couple of songs on the record that we felt like should have really been on the record,” Brian Andrews said. “But now that I listen back to the entire album I see why he made the choices that he made. And it makes a lot of sense and really rounds the whole album off. So, um, that’s why Diddy is Diddy and that’s why we’re Day26.”
But the guys are quick to point out they didn’t make the changes at the drop of a hat. In fact, Will Taylor describes the recording process for Forever as a “battle.” “When we went in, we thought we knew we had had it,” he explained. “We were like, ‘This is it, please don’t touch it.’ But he came in and he was like, ‘Nah playboy, I’m touching this, this and this, and I’m going to replace it with this.’ ”
