Well ya’ll! It’s about time, right?! The much-anticipated Season 4 Premiere of Making The Band 4 is tonight at 9pm on MTV! This season will follow DAY 26, Donnie Klang & Danity Kane on their Making The Band Tour & more.
Also, don’t forget that DAY 26, Danity Kane & Donnie Klang will be appearing on MTV’s TRL today!. We will have all the videos up for download.

Yep thats right! DAY 26, Danity Kane & Donnie will all be on MTV’s TRL this coming Tuesday (8.19.08) for Making The Band Fan Week and to promote the Season 3 premiere of Making The Band 4. And THEN DAY 26 will be back on Friday (8.22.08) to Co-Host the show. I will have the video downloads up for you guys right after the show. Don’t forget to check them out! Making The Band 4 Returns Hotter Than Ever

Danity Kane, Day 26 and Donnie Klang return to MTV for season three of the highly rated show Making the Band 4.

Slated to premiere on a new night, Tuesday, August 19th at 9pm the new season continues to chronicle the journey of platinum artists Danity Kane, solo artist Donnie Klang and rising stars Day26. The MTV cameras were right there to capture Que, Robert, Brian, Mike and Willie from Day26 and solo artist Donnie Klang as they set off on their first promo tour this summer with label mates Dawn, Aubrey, Shannon, Aundrea and D. Woods from Danity Kane. Fans will continue to see the relationships with the guys and girls develop while on the road and watch them work and live together and ultimately compete for the top spot in the music business. Of course Diddy will be there to further challenge, guide and teach them everything they need to know to be successful artists. This new season will be loaded with many surprises, amazing new music and much more of what “Making The Band” fans enjoy intensity and lots of drama!

Can’t wait till August 19th ? Fans can get ready for the season on Tuesday, August 12th at 9pm ET/PT with “Making The Band’s Greatest Hits” hosted by Aubrey from Danity Kane, solo artist Donnie Klang and Robert from Day26. During this special they will take viewers through some of the greatest moments from past seasons of “Making the Band” including a sneak peek at some of the excitement and drama that’s ahead in the new season.

DAY 26 recently sat down with Live! With Pete Finch for a 3-part interview. I think this was done about a week ago and The Guys discuss everything from the new season of Making The Band to letting us know that they are about to start recording their Sophmore Album!

Also, watching the interview, I realized that the One Year Anniversary of DAY 26 is coming up on August 26th and ya’ll know that Day-26.com is gonna do somethin’ hella big for the occassion. So, tonight I will get started on a book where all ya’ll can submit your questions, comments, messages, photos, etc. and hopefully I can get to someone at Bad Boy or Starstruck to make sure that Que, Rob, Will, Mike & Brian all read them.

The 2008 MTV Video Music Awards are right around the corner and its time for all of us DAY 26 fans to start nominating them for the awards. I could totally see DAY 26 taking home New Artist and Video Of The Year - even more! Please take some time out to go vote for our boys! Don’t forget the VMA’s go down this year on September 7th, 2008 (my birthday :p) at 8pm!

DAY26 is scheduled to perform at the Jam 4 Peace concert in Milwaukee on August 16th, 2008 which is sponsored by WKKV-FM (100.7). Other performers include : Nelly, Soulja Boy, The-Dream, Trey Songz, V.I.C.. So if you’re in the Milwaukee area then you might be in luck! Here’s more info:

Jam 4 Peace at Bradley Center on Aug. 16

The 17th annual V100 Jam 4 Peace sponsored by WKKV-FM (100.7) will return to the Bradley Center on Aug. 16, with a lineup that features rapper Nelly and support acts Soulja Boy, The-Dream, Trey Songz, V.I.C. and Day 26.

The event again will focus on the problem of urban violence. Local officials will speak, and a giant screen will show a scrolling list of names of local people murdered since the beginning of the year.

Program director Bailey Coleman said in a statement: “While violence unfortunately is around us, this concert’s aim is to draw attention to that violence and at least for a small moment in time say enough is enough, let’s do something, let’s have peace!”

Tickets are $60, $40 and $20, excluding service charges. They are available at the box office, at http://www.v100.com and at Ticketmaster outlets, (414) 276-4545 and http://www.ticketmaster.com.

Starstruck Management and Bridgetone Concerts present The Breakout Tour featuring DAY 26 and Donnie Klang, which kicked off on July 23rd in Cleveland, Ohio and will wrap up on July 27th in St. Louis. According to BadBoyBlog.com, The Guys of DAY26 will be releasing a brand new album in May 2009! I’m really glad to hear this and I know the next album is gon’ be pure fiyah as well! What do ya’ll think?

Yesterday, DAY 26 performed at the 2008 East New York City Day in Brooklyn, New York and here is a video of them doing their soundcheck before the concert. They sound hella good. This sunday, July 20th, 2008, DAY26 will perform and attend the annual East New York City Day celebration. This event is held every year to promote family and child health awareness and its a great cause. The event is free, so if you ain’t doing anything this sunday, then def. go and check them out! DAY26 were recently at WIZF 101.1 fm in Cincinnati, Ohio and they stopped by to show some love to all their fans & the station. The Guys also let us know that the video for Since You’ve Been Gone premiered at NUMBER 3 on the countdown! So congratulations to The Guys for that! DAY26 member Willie Taylor III got his own street named after him Willie Taylor Avenue in Harvey, Illinois (right outside of Chicago). This is such a huge honor and we are definentely proud of Will and the members of DAY26 for this amazing honor. It’s really touching and its even right up the street from the house that Willie grew up on. Watch the video & get inspired!

DAY 26’s Willie Taylor Honored in Hometown on Independence Day
HARVEY, IL – Coming off the hills of a the Best New Group BET Award nomination, DAY 26 is set to be honored once again in Harvey, Ill. The small town is home to member Willie Taylor. The city is also honing July 4, 2008 as “Day 26″ day. The 6th annual 4th of July “Pride in Harvey” parade and festival will designate 149th street as Willie Taylor Avenue. The Harvey native of the quintet grew up nearby the street that is being named after him.

DAY 26 will add to the annual festivities by performing in Taylor’s hometown. “It really means a lot to me that the folks in my community are supporting me in this way,” I am excited to bring the guys to my hometown and we are all looking forward to performing,” said Taylor of his honor from the Mayor of Harvey.

DAY 26 was introduced to the world by Bad Boy’s top executive, Sean “Diddy” Combs, last August. The group debuted their first album at no. 1 on the billboard charts and has been recognized with a BET Award nomination and a Teen Choice Award nomination. The group recently released their next single “Since You’ve Been Gone” this month.
